The Kladje Tourist Farm is situated at the latitude of 1020 m. It is surrounded by forests and mountains which enable you to feel the nature and gain stamina for new challenges. Tourism on the farm may be luxury as it represents people’s return to themselves – to the world of nature and genuineness.
This can be felt on our farm, the Kladje Tourist Farm, where a cock sings at dawn, the birds warble and the fragrance of white coffee and home-made bread rises from the kitchen.
On the ground floor there is a room with the baker’s oven. It is intended for stay of all the visitors who come to the farm.
Upstairs there is a dining room and a living room with a fireplace.
The mansard comprises well furnished rooms: two double rooms, one four-bed room, and an apartment for four people, with a kitchen, bathroom and a terrace. The furniture is of home-manufacture, made from the wood produced in our area. Each room has its own bathroom with a toilet and a shower.
We welcome groups up to 30 people – the booking in advance is recommended. We offer peace, tranquility and the beauty of nature. Children can find great satisfaction in observing rabbits, ducks, lambs, as well as cows and calves.
Our offer includes home-prepared specialties: home-made bread, ‘SAVINJSKI ZELODEC’ (local speciality made of pork, similar to dry salami), ‘ZLINKROF’ (similar to Italian ravioli, stuffed pasta), ‘STRUKELJ’ (‘strukelj’ – a sweet dish – boiled pastry roll with filling). The offer of drinks includes home-prepared apple juice or cider.
The farm has been a part of ecological agriculture for several years so the food is produced through biological cultivation.
On the farm there is s granary which was built in 1876. Its wooden construction resembles a swallow’s tail. A maple tree which grows in front of the building has a ramification of 4.3 m. In summer you can gather forest fruits (blueberries, raspberries, mushrooms, cranberries). Those who prefer herbs will find rich and diverse flora in the area.
Hiking is pleasant and great fun as there are various routes: Stari Stani, Smrekovec, Komen, Travnik, Turnovka (the outlook tower), the Sopot waterfall. For more advanced routes you can go to Olševa, Raduha and Ojstrica.
In Ljubno you can visit Raftsmen Collection, the Fašun House, in Radmirje you can see the Collection of mantles and vestments and in Mozirje there is the Mozirski gaj – a park with flowers and ethnologic buildings.
Those who prefer active holidays can choose between less demanding recreation activities: mountain biking, fishing, skiing on the Golte slopes, sledging, cave exploring (Snežna jama, Potočka zijalka, jama Ledenica), swimming in the Topolšica Spa and more extreme sports: kayaking, canoeing, rafting, gliding).
