Piran, “the pearl of the Slovenian coast”, is an ancient town known for its fishing, salt production, culture, and tourist tradition.
Historical richness gathered in our town represents a natural scenery for religious, cultural, and other typically Mediterra-nean traditional events which take place throughout the year.
In this wonderful setting called a “town with soul” there is the VAL HOSTEL with a restaurant.
In our hostel there are 22 nicely furnished rooms (with 2, 3 or 4 beds) altogether 56 beds. Lavatories and showers are separately placed on each floor. Our guests can use a tea kitchen and a laundry. On the ground floor there is a restaurant (with 56 seats) that can be turned, if necessary, into a conference hall with all technical equipment, a dining room with cable TV, video recorder, telephone, and a computer with Internet connection. The hostel is often used as a small congress center.
The Val Hostel is centrally heated, and open all the year round.
