The Trumpet and Cloud Hostel is located at Beli križ, a stown throw from Piran, Portoroz and Fiesa. We offer our guests the choice of many different types of rooms: double, triple, quadruple rooms and apartments with private parking lots.

The Trumpet and Cloud Hostel was launched in 2013 under the auspices of The Maona Tourist Agency, which took over the management of the holiday house of Slovene Writers’ Association at Beli Križ. The home has been dedicated to holidaying and creation of writers and other art lovers for over 30 years. Today the former writers’ holiday house took over the shape of a hostel and opened its doors to all travelers, artists, researchers and free spirited people. The Trumpet and Cloud Hostel represents a place of inspiration, relaxation and fun in the shade of majestic trees, overlooking the Gulf of Trieste and Piran. It is located at the starting point for exploring Piran, Fiesa, Portoroz and other nearby coastal towns. Its immediate surroundings are the perfect place for literary, musical and other cultural evenings, workshops or simply for socializing and relaxation.
Rooms
We offer our guest the choice of different types of rooms:
- Double rooms (40€ /night)
- Triple rooms (50€/night)
- Quadruple rooms (60€/night)
All rooms have shared bathrooms. Some rooms have access to a private balcony.
Apartments
We offer our guests accommodation in 2 to 3 bedroom apartments with private bathroom, kitchen, WI-FI connection, TV and terrace. (50-60€/night).

Venice trips
You can visit Venice by the Prince of Venice or Venezia Lines catamaran. Visit with us the most beautiful water city in our day-trip. During the 3-hour- trip guides will tell you the history of the city and in Venice they will take you to the most beautiful architectural monuments and to the Murano glass-factory. You will also have a free afternoon, when you can do individual visits, take lunch, visit Venice by vaporetto (the famous water-taxi) or gondola.
Boat trips:
- Trip by the Sloinarka boat to the Sečovlje salt-pans
- Trip by the motor boat Subaquatic where you can enjoy the splendid panorama and also discover sea floor.
