The apartments are situated in the beautiful and peaceful location in Rateče – Planica, near Kranjska Gora, Julian Alps, Slovenia. The apartments have all the equipment: kitchen dishes, kitchen utensils, refrigerator, bedding, towels, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, etc. To the apartments belongs a covered parking, a large garden – a place to play and space for storing bicycles and skis.
We have two spacious, nicely decorated apartments, with all equipment.
Rateče is a nice peasant village with many good restaurants, the shop, in short with all that you need for your carefree holidays. You can enjoy peace and quiet or different activities and events in the nearby well known tourist center of Kranjska Gora – (6 km; 5 minutes drive by car).

Skiing, snowboarding, sleding, cross-country skiing. In the fields of Rateče there are many cross-country tracks leading to Tamar, Planica and Kranjska Gora. There is a 5 minuts drive by car to the the beautiful ski slopes in Kranjska Gora and Podkoren. For the small children the ski slope in Planica is recomended. You can also drive to nearby ski resorts in Tarvisio, or on mountain slopes Monte Lussari.

Trekking – Rateče is a wonderful starting point for several beautiful excursions, mountain walks and tours. You can afford youself a healthy active holiday – without a car. Tamar – the source of Nadiža, the starting point for the tours to Sleme, Mojstrovka or Jalovec. There is a beautiful small chapel where you can find mosaic designs of the pastor Rupnik, author of the famous mosaics of the personal papal chapel “Redemptoris Mater” in Vatican.
A short walk to the natural reservation of Zelenci – the source of Sava. You can decide also for a very pleasant walk to Tromeja – the meeting point of the three frontiers: Slovenia, Italy and Austria. By car you can have a nice trip to Vršič passing by the Jasna lake and the Russian chapel.
Cycling – a very well made cycling path from Rateče to Kranjska gora, Gozd Martuljek and Mojstrana and to the West towards Italy and Austria. Bicycle trail of three countries – without borders.
