Druga Godba, Ljubljana’s international festival of exceptional music from all corners of the planet, is one of the most important annual musical gatherings in Central Europe – and has been for over three decades now. In that time, we have unearthed and presented music from geographical territories previously unknown in this part of the world, and provided our audiences with a superb range of inspiring and thought-provoking musical experiences.
Top-quality performances, new approaches and the huge range of musical expression and content are the foundations of our work – foundations we build on year after year. Our achievements have also been recognised by British world music magazine Songlines, which has just selected Druga Godba as one of the 25 best international festivals in the world for the fifth year running.
